ABCT Weekly Schedule 6/26-7/4

Good evening, parents! We are just over a week from opening night! (screams) Thank you to everyone who showed up yesterday to paint sets and work on costumes. It was much appreciated...we are so close!

We will be moving and installing flats tomorrow, June 26. Charles Anderson is organizing this (cander@cander.com). We need 1) muscle, 2) pickup trucks 3) drills 4) many hands (wearing gloves, if possible). Meet at the high school auditorium at 6PM to load up.

Costumes--we are fitting kids for costumes this week so let us know if you have any questions about what they are wearing.

SHOES--Please make sure your kiddo has either black shoes or neutral-colored sandals to wear on stage. Flip flops and slides do not count no how much your kids want them to count. Some costumes may require you to provide shorts or leggings to wear underneath, but we will contact you if that is true for your child.

July 2 Talent Show. This did not make it on the schedule for some reason. Some of the kids will perform in the Talent Show for the 4th of July festival on Sunday, July 2, at 2 PM. We will get that list out soon. Let us know ASAP if your kid CANNOT participate on July 2.

There is NO rehearsal on July 2.

Rehearsal on July 3 will be from 3-5 PM. We want to practice BEFORE music in the park begins at 5 pm to avoid competing with the sound from the park.

July 4--we will line up for the Children's Parade on Monmouth Avenue in front of WOU's Natural Science building at 11 am. There is NO rehearsal on July 4.

There was interest from one of the high school interns, Julian Granera, to organize a float for the full-length parade. He needs a flatbed trailer and a set of speakers. Please reach out to him if you have these items and are willing to let him use them. He is also looking for someone to drive in the parade. Please let our production team know if you'd like to help out in this capacity.

ABCT Weekly Update - 6/19 - 6/25

From ABCT, Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, and those who fill a fatherly role, in the group! It's been a fun week of full length rehearsals and the show is coming together, scene by scene. We so appreciate all of your hard work while we make these memorable moments for your kiddos.  With that in mind,  we need some extra help tomorrow to move sets to WOU . If you have a truck and a little extra energy, please come help move big stuff over to WOU tomorrow night, Monday 6/20, from  6-8 pm. Another important update we need to share is that, today, we were notified that a cast member has tested positive for Covid. Please take extra care this week. If you have a child who is symptomatic or is showing signs of fatigue or cold symptoms, please keep them home. We encourage masking if your child is comfortable doing so. We are so close to pulling this show off and we would be regretful if parts of the cast were sick during our performances.  And now for the good stuff...rehearsa...
